Job summary

The YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South in Jackson, TN is seeking a part-time Site Director for School Age Services to plan and supervise before- and after-school activities for 20–99 students, ensuring safety and developmental growth.

You will supervise site staff, maintain lesson plans, and build positive relationships with schools and families, following YMCA and DHS guidelines while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with four years of related experience.
• Enroll in TECTA orientation within the first year of employment.
• Understanding of DHS licensing requirements and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead before/after school site operations for 20–99 students.
• Oversee staff schedules, training, and development.
• Maintain weekly lesson plans and daily records.
• Foster relationships with schools, parents, and community partners.
• Ensure DHS licensing standards are met and inspections passed.
• Support overall site safety and program quality.
