Job summary

YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South in Jackson, TN, is seeking a part-time Site Director for School Age Before and After School programs. You will plan daily lessons, supervise staff, ensure safety and licensing compliance, and foster positive relationships with schools and families.

This role requires 21+ years old, high school diploma or higher, and experience in child development; evening and weekend availability; strong leadership and communication skills; and the ability to manage inventory and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with four years of relevant experience in child development.
• TECTA orientation training within first year of employment or equivalent recognized by the DHS.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities for School Age Before/After School site.
• Supervise site staff and coordinate daily lesson plans.
• Ensure safety and DHS licensing compliance at the site.
• Maintain relationships with school staff and parents.
• Develop and participate on a parent advisory board twice yearly.
• Maintain DHS files for staff and children.
• Assist in budgeting, supplies, and snacks.
• Participate in YMCA volunteer programs and annual campaign.
