Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Four (4) or more years of professional engineering experience and a valid non-commercial Class C license.

Responsibilities

• Reviews road and storm drain plans, and water and sewer plans for permits and subdivisions.
• Reviews stormwater management plans, mitigation proposals, and downstream analyses for conformance to codes and regulations.
• Reviews Preliminary and Site Development Plans.
• Reviews subdivision plans and record plats.
• Reviews grading and building permits.
• Coordinates reviews with the Office of Planning and Zoning, Department of Public Works, and other county agencies.
• Meets with owners, consultants, developers, and outside agencies.
• Performs engineering work requiring independent evaluation and the exercise of judgment to apply criteria and resolve problems.
