Job summary

EBA Engineering, Inc. is seeking Construction Inspectors to join our Anne Arundel County pavement team in Maryland. You will conduct site inspections, document deviations, and collaborate with senior staff to ensure safety and design compliance.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, maintaining inspection records, and using eConstruction tools. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 3–10 years of experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Possess strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficiency with eConstruction applications (Fulcrum)
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Able to work in various weather conditions and terrains

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of roadways, bridges, tunnels, and facilities to verify design adherence
• Document deviations, defects, or issues found during inspections
• Collaborate with senior inspectors and project managers to ensure safety and requirements
• Review construction plans and technical documents as needed
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports for compliance
• Learn and apply inspection software and tools
• Participate in team meetings and safety briefings
• Communicate with contractors and stakeholders to address concerns
