Job summary

Anne Arundel County Government is recruiting a Senior Engineer to lead the Engineering Division's review of development plans, site development, and permits, with emphasis on water, sewer, drainage, and roads. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Four (4) or more years of engineering experience and a valid non-commercial Class C driver's license.
• Note: Foreign degree requires credential evaluation upon close of the announcement.

Responsibilities

• Review utility, infrastructure, storm drainage, and water/sewer plans for permits and subdivisions.
• Ensure compliance with County, State, and Federal codes and standards.
• Coordinate with Planning, Public Works, and external agencies on development proposals.
• Present technical information to supervisors, staff, and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor staff; manage scope and quality of engineering reviews.
