Anne Arundel County – Public Works Department in Annapolis seeks an Engineer Administrator to plan, direct, and supervise the Bureau of Engineering's capital programs and activities.

This highly responsible role oversees design reviews, site investigations, cost estimates, contracting documents, and coordination with developers, officials, and the public to deliver capital projects on time and within budget.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college.
• Six or more years of engineering experience, including four+ years in management, supervisory, and administrative roles.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
• Valid state Class C motor vehicle operator's license.
• Experience in management and oversight of capital projects including highways, bridges, and drainage is preferred.

• Plan, organize, and direct the capital programs and activities of the Bureau of Engineering.
• Supervise a large staff of professional, technical, and clerical employees; resolve public and stakeholder inquiries.
• Oversee design, plan reviews, site investigations, and cost estimates; prepare reports and contract documents.
• Engage in public outreach and meetings with developers and county officials to obtain approvals.
• Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and the five-year CIP.
