Job summary

Bohler's West Palm Beach office is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience in site design from concept to construction. You will work with engineers and project managers to support real-world projects and learn how professional land development teams operate.

During the internship, you will use AutoCAD Civil 3D to assist with concept and grading plans, stormwater management, and utility layouts, while gaining exposure to

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity and motivation to learn within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Experience the day-to-day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm.
• Learn the stages of land development and site design processes.
• Gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D to design concept, grading, stormwater, utilities, and sediment control plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to drive projects forward.
• Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions.
