Job summary

CraneWorks, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Crane Operator to safely operate cranes and boom trucks while leading the job site team. You will supervise Oilers, Assist Teams, and Signal Persons, enforcing safety protocols and conducting pre-lift inspections.

You will coordinate lifts, ensure proper rigging, and perform regular equipment inspections. The role requires OSHA/ANSI knowledge, CDL, and relevant certifications, with a focus on safe, efficient operation across varied sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA Regulations and ANSI Standards in crane operations.
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
• Pass drug test, background, and medical check.
• Daily and monthly equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane equipment for heavy lifting and transportation.
• Direct and supervise Oilers, Assist Teams, and Signal Persons on site.
• Maintain personal and coworker safety and follow safety protocols.
• Ensure lifts stay within load limits and proper rigging is used.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect lifting gear.
• Maintain clear radio/visual communication with riggers during lifts.
• Operate man-lift safely when required.
