CraneWorks, Inc. is seeking a Crane Operator in Birmingham, AL to operate cranes and boom trucks safely, lead on-site teams, and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols. You will conduct pre-lift checks, communicate clearly with riggers, and maintain equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Must have NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification.
• Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane used in heavy lifting and transport.
• Directly supervise Oiler, Assist Team Leader, and Signal Persons.
• Ensure personal safety and safety of co-workers; follow safety protocols.
• Perform pre-lift inspections and job site safety analyses.
• Maintain radio/hand/line communication with rigger during lifts.
• Ensure lifts are within load limits and rigging is inspected prior to use.
