Job summary

Craneworks is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to lead lifting operations on job sites. You will manage safety, supervise oilers and signal personnel, and ensure pre-lift inspections and load calculations are performed accurately.

The role requires knowledge of OSHA/ANSI standards, strong communication, and hands-on experience with rigging, signaling, and crane operations in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA Regulations and ANSI Standards in crane operations.
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
• Pass drug test, background, and medical check.
• Daily and monthly equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane equipment to hoist materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Reports to Branch Manager, directly supervises Oiler, Assist Team Leader, and Signal Persons.
• Responsible for personal safety and safety of co-workers.
• Ensure safety protocols and pre-lift inspections are followed.
• Maintain communication with rigger during lifting procedures.
• Capable of safely operating a man-lift.
