Job summary

Bechtel is conducting a major Thacker Pass project in Nevada, serving as the EPCM contractor for Lithium Americas. You will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders.

Your field supervision ensures that operations align with schedules, and that work is planned and executed safely in a challenging, high-desert environment.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and criteria pertinent to ES&H learning and development needs.
• Demonstrated skill in oral and written communication and in preparing clear and comprehensive correspondence.
• General knowledge of writing and producing training, marketing, and communication tools

Responsibilities

• Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities and staff.
• Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
• Develops planning construction methods and procedures.
• Monitors installation of materials and equipment for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Ensures safety policies and the Zero Accident Philosophy are followed.
