Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Project Superintendent for the Thacker Pass lithium project in Nevada. You will monitor and organize direct hire and subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a multi-stakeholder project, guiding field supervision to align with schedules and safe work methods.

The role emphasizes coordinating electrical and instrumentation work, resource planning, and adherence to Bechtel's standards.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and organize Direct Hire craft and subcontractor activities, through coordination of the electrical and instrumentation work in your area.
• Monitor construction schedules, resource charts, and material & equipment requirements.
• Prepare Direct Hire Job Hazard Analysis, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements and/or reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
• Monitor installation of material and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor information, and other requirements.
• Enforce8- policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
• Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents. Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
• Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.
