Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a senior construction professional to monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project in Nevada. You will coordinate and direct subcontractor management staff to ensure work aligns with established schedules and safety standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of construction planning, piping operations, and Bechtel's ES&H Handbook.

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
Extensive working knowledge of construction planning, monitoring and control.
Extensive technical knowledge and experience in piping operations; to ensure adequate coordination with all stakeholders for smooth and safe execution.

Responsibilities

Monitors and directs subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractors' management staff within the area of responsibility.
Role supports on large projects of high complexity with multiple stakeholders’ involvement.
Reviews and monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
Leads the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements.
