Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Project Manager - Site/Civil Engineering to lead the design and delivery of civil/site projects in South Florida, including Coral Gables and adjacent cities.

The role focuses on client relationship management, project leadership, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and construction phases within the community development practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 15+ years of experience in civil/site or land development engineering and project management.
• Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.

Responsibilities

• Pursuing and winning new clients and projects.
• Leading project-related meetings and presentations.
• Coordinating with clients, team members, sub-consultants, and preparing detailed scope/fee proposals.
• Performing planning phase activities and providing input on civil engineering issues.
• Directing civil engineering design including layout/geometry, drainage, paving, water/sewer, and erosion control.
• Preparing submission packages, supporting calculations, cost estimates, schedules, and agency approvals.
• Supervising construction phase support, bidding documents, field inspections, progress meetings, and final certifications.
• Monitoring project progress, staffing, budgets, and client communications.
• Sourcing, attracting and developing staff.
• Planning and executing QA/QC plans for projects.
