Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro is seeking a Program Manager to lead high-quality after-school programming at a school-based site, ensuring safety, youth engagement, and alignment with A.S.E.S. and ELOP standards.

You will oversee program operations, staff supervision, and partnerships with schools and community organizations to create a safe, engaging, and outcome-driven environment. This role emphasizes staff development, program evaluation, and responsible resource management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in after-school programming or youth development.
• Minimum 1 year of staff supervision or leadership.
• Strong understanding of child safety and youth engagement.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Program Oversight: Manage after-school site programs and services to meet standards and maintain a safe, outcome-driven environment.
• Staff Supervision & Development: Lead Kinder Care Coordinator and YDPs, guiding supervision and parent engagement.
• Training & Professional Growth: Plan and participate in trainings and events to support staff development.
• Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Use CRM data, compile monthly reports, and observe programs for improvements.
• Accountability & Performance Management: Supervise staff, enforce goals, address issues with HR and leadership.
• Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budget, collaborate with school staff on safety and sustainability.
• Community & School Partnerships: Build relationships with schools and community partners for alignment.
• Program Promotion & Outreach: Represent BGCSL and promote membership and external engagement.
