Job summary

The Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro seeks a Program Site Coordinator to oversee after-school programming at Washington Elementary School. You will support the Program Manager, ensure grant-aligned services (A.S.E.S./ELOP), and lead a site leadership team focused on safety, engagement, and outcomes.

You will supervise Youth Development Professionals, coordinate with school staff, and collaborate with families to deliver structured, safe programming that youth find engaging and impactful.

Qualifications

• Must have an appropriate high school diploma or higher education path with required units or degrees.
• Experience supervising youth programs and coordinating staff is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication to engage families and school staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in managing after-school site activities and grant-aligned programming.
• Supervise Youth Development Professionals; provide training and schedule oversight.
• Engage youth, foster positive experiences, and maintain a structured environment.
• Build relationships with school staff, families, and community partners.
• Collect attendance and outcomes data; assist with grant reporting.
• Ensure safety procedures, licensing compliance, and emergency protocols.
• Assist in planning events and workshops to boost program engagement.
• Support continuous program improvement and operational efficiency.
