Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of San Leandro is seeking a Program Site Coordinator to support after-school programming at site level. You will help ensure program delivery aligns with A.S.E.S./ELOP grants and report to the Program Manager, contributing to a safe, engaging, and outcome-driven environment.

The role requires 1–2 years youth-facing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work on-site with staff and students.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of experience working with youth in after-school, summer camp, or educational setting.
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of youth development best practices and safety policies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and attendance tracking/reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Support the Program Manager in managing after-school site activities and ensure program success.
Supervise Youth Development Professionals and provide training and development opportunities.
Ensure staff engages with youth and maintains a safe, structured environment.
Maintain relationships with school administrators, teachers, and parents; coordinate with external partners.
Track attendance, participation, and program outcomes; assist with grant reports.
Ensure safety procedures and licensing requirements are followed and staff are trained.
Assist in planning and executing special events, workshops, and trainings.
Support program efficiency and continuous improvement.
