Job summary

The Site Safety and Operations Coordinator at Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro oversees daily site operations and safety compliance within a school-based setting. You will manage safety protocols, drills, and coordinating with school and organizational leadership to ensure a structured, safe after-school environment.

Responsibilities include staff onboarding and ongoing CPR/First Aid training, incident investigation, and collaboration with district safety teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged youth in an educational or after-school setting is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain before start date.
• Availability for the entire academic year, including training sessions and after-school operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, parents, and partners.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to policies and maintaining a structured environment.
• Lead safety procedures, conduct drills, and coordinate with safety leadership.
• Investigate and document safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Lead onboarding, ongoing training, and certification programs for staff (CPR/First Aid).
• Manage student enrollment, class assignments, and check-in/out processes via MyClubHub.
• Maintain safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on safety improvements and needs.
• Foster a proactive safety-focused culture and collaborate with district safety teams.
