Job summary

North Polk Community School District is seeking a Registrar to manage the student information system (Infinite Campus) and handle enrollment data for students and staff. You will engage with new families, support open enrollment, and serve as the district contact for state reporting.

You will maintain confidentiality, provide strong customer service, and train staff on SIS use, while coordinating district volunteer programs and district-wide data submissions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, two or four year degree preferred
• Computer skills (Google, Excel, Infinite Campus, Word, Office, State of Iowa Education Portal)
• Experience with Information Systems, preferably school information systems
• Basic accounting experience preferred
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate all student registration. Provide instructional information to community members on how to access information on the SIS and the district website.
• Manage and maintain data relating to the SIS including student enrollment, staff information, rosters and courses, grading setup, online registration, and achievement.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to all student information.
• Collaborate with staff to verify, collect and provide data for information reports such as CRDC, MAP, Clever, Panorama Success, and ISASP.
• Assist in collecting and submitting data for SRI, Certified Enrollment, State ID System, school photographers, and Blackboard.
• Provide training to staff on the SIS.
• Coordinate district volunteer program, including background checks and communication of approved/denied volunteers.
• Administer and/or oversee non-nutrition, student-facing fees into the SIS.
• Provide expertise with open enrollment regulations, record keeping, questions and processes.
• Provide assistance to Home School families and the Home School Program Coordinator.
• Collaborate on School Registration and Parent Portal pages and forms with up-to-date information.
• Secondary coverage for district messaging when needed.
• Secondary business office support.
