Job summary

Rasmussen University in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Simulation Technician for the School of Nursing to support day-to-day operations in the nursing simulation space. You will prepare, operate, and maintain simulators, manikins, AV equipment, and related supplies while collaborating with the National Simulation team, Nursing Leadership, and faculty.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate, diploma, or applied associate degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or technical field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates delivery of all simulation activities.
• Maintains simulation activities and learner confidentiality.
• Setup, breakdown, and restocking of simulation spaces and equipment.
• Operates manikins and AV equipment during simulations.
• Trains faculty on equipment and technical aspects.
• Tracks inventory and supplies.
• Proficient with MS Office and AV tech troubleshooting.
• Ensures safety and hygiene standards.
