Job summary

Rasmussen University in Bloomington, MN seeks a Simulation Technician to support day-to-day operations of the Nursing simulation space, maintain equipment, and provide technical and mechanical support for simulations. You will collaborate with the National Simulation team, Nursing Leadership, campus staff, faculty and students to ensure high-quality simulation education.

The role requires excellent time management, organization, and communication skills, with responsibilities spanning operations

Qualifications

• Requires professional certificate, diploma, or applied associate degree; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or technical field; clinical environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to troubleshoot simulation tech and AV systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of all simulation activities.
• Maintain simulation activities and learner confidentiality.
• Set up, break down, clean up, and restock simulation spaces and equipment.
• Operate patient manikins and AV equipment during simulations.
• Train faculty on equipment and technical aspects of simulations.
• Maintain records related to equipment maintenance and warranties.
