Job summary

University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a Simulation Technology Specialist I (Part-Time) to provide technical and operational support for the School of Nursing's Simulation Program on campus. You will manage high-fidelity manikins, task trainers, AV systems, and related technologies to deliver safe, realistic simulation experiences.

You will collaborate with faculty, staff, and students, train users, and contribute to continuous improvement of simulation operations in a part-time, on-campus

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience with audiovisual systems and computer networking.
• One (1) year of experience with healthcare simulation equipment.
• Education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation equipment including manikins and AV systems.
• Set up, reset, and maintain simulation environments reflecting clinical scenarios.
• Provide technical support before, during, and after simulation sessions.
• Record, edit, and manage audiovisual content with platforms such as SimCapture and B-Line.
