Job summary

LSU New Orleans seeks a Department Compliance Operations professional to manage the Statewide Incident Management System (SIMS) project and serve as a liaison with the SIMS contractor. The role involves tracking work requests, coordinating with the program office and technology services, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

You will facilitate meetings with the SIMS contractor, prepare management reports, and provide regular updates to the LDH SIMS workgroup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 3+ years in project management and cross-team coordination.
• 3+ years writing business documents (reports, manuals, work plans).
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for SIMS, liaising with the SIMS contractor.
• Track and manage work requests submitted to the SIMS contractor; ensure resolution.
• Coordinate with Office of Technology Services and program staff on connectivity issues.
