Job summary

LSU New Orleans seeks a Project Coordinator 2 to manage Medicaid workflow, scan and index documents in EDMS, and link appeals in LaMEDS. You will prepare case notes and communicate with CAU staff as needed.

Responsibilities include attending DAL hearings, clearing the DAL docket, and ensuring timely action while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree +3 years, or 6 years in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum 1 year professional experience in an administrative function.
  • Analytical and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; team and goal oriented.
  • Experience with administrative appeals processes and Medicaid support is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process Medicaid correspondence via mail, fax or designated boxes.
  • Scan and metadata, and ingest into EDMS.
  • Upload appeals documents and link to client cases in LaMEDS.
  • Enter descriptive case notes in EDMS.
  • Notify Medicaid Analysts and CAU staff when actions are needed.
  • Attend DAL Hearings and complete untimely appeal packets.
  • Clear the Weekly DAL Docket and communicate issues to supervisor.
