Job summary

IHG in Georgia is seeking a Cook / Commis Chef to deliver flavourful dishes and create memorable dining experiences. You will contribute to presentation, maintain high standards, and take pride in your workspace.

You’ll follow safety procedures, keep equipment and supplies well managed, assist with washing up and other kitchen duties, and wear the uniform with pride while helping guests with queries.

This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Lifting up to 50lbs, bending and kneeling may be required.
• Good reading, writing and basic maths needed.
• Willingness to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Comply with local food handling and alcohol serving laws.
• Strong communication to greet guests and answer queries.

Responsibilities

• Make each meal a feast for the eyes and taste buds, with your signature flair.
• Own your kitchen – manage supplies and equipment, minimise waste.
• Report unsafe equipment, low supplies or safety incidents to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment.
• Maintain high cleanliness to meet local laws.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Assist guests with queries to enhance their experience.
• Wear the uniform with pride.
• Take on ad-hoc duties to support the team.
