Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Second in Command (SIC) Pilot to support on-demand charter operations with a focus on safety and service.

The position requires extensive flight hours, FAA certifications, and the ability to multi-task while ensuring compliance with FAR 135 and company procedures. Base pay ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 per year, with a 30-hour flight hour target and a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or GED required.
• FAA ATP Multi rating required and current.
• Total flight time at least 2,500 hours with 500 multi-engine time.

Responsibilities

• Perform preflight and postflight inspections and walk‑arounds.
• Assist PIC during all flight phases per operating procedures.
• Maintain aviation safety for passengers, crew, cargo, and aircraft.
• Brief PIC on all customer service items and leg requirements.
• Ensure compliance with FARs, SOPs, and company policies.
• Update flight/duty records and report maintenance issues.
