Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Citation CJ3 SIC Pilot to support on-demand charter ops. The SIC assists the Pilot-in-Command, conducts preflight/postflight inspections, briefs passengers on service items, and ensures compliance with FAR 135 and company procedures.

Qualifications

• ATP Multiengine rating required.
• 2,500 total flight hours.
• 500 multi-engine hours.
• Must pass FAA checks within 12 calendar months as per FAR 135.293(a).
• Must complete competency check within 12 calendar months per FAR 135.293(b).
• Must have IFR proficiency check (FAR 135.297).

Responsibilities

• Perform visual preflight and postflight inspections.
• Assist PIC during all flight phases per operating P&P.
• Ensure safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft; assume responsibility if PIC is incapacitated.
• Brief PIC on customer service items including passenger pickup/drop-off and catering.
• Ensure completion of customer service portions of each leg per SOPs and P&P.
