Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC, based in Hawthorne, CA, seeks a Second in Command to support on-demand charter and scheduled routes to Mammoth and Crescent City. The successful candidate will hold required flight minimums, FAA certifications, and live within two hours of the base, ready to work under FAR 135 guidelines.

The role demands high multi-tasking ability, strict safety adherence, and active participation in safety and quality systems. Competitive schedule rewards and flight duties apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• FAA-approved aviation experience is required.
• Ability to multi-task and make high level decisions while performing aviation tasks.
• Must maintain required flight minimums and certifications.
• Must live within two hours of Hawthorne base.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual pre/post flight inspections.
• Assist PIC during all phases of flight per operating P&P.
• Ensure safety of passengers, crew, cargo and aircraft.
• Brief PIC on customer service items and ground handling.
• Maintain flight and duty records and report maintenance discrepancies.
