Job summary

Jet Linx is seeking a Second in Command (SIC) for our Hayward, CA base. The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and helps ensure safe, efficient operation of company aircraft under 91 and 135.

Candidates must live close to the base or relocate and be within a 2-hour call-out time of their home base. Starting base salary ranges from $89,000 to $125,000 with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with 6% match, PTO, and life and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Total Time - 2000 hours.
• Total PIC - 500 hours.
• Total Multi-Engine - 500 hours.
• Total Turbine - 100 hours.
• Total Instrument - 150 hours.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• ATP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage duty, flight, and rest times to company and CFR requirements.
• Maintain communication for standby duty, trip notifications, position calls, and pre-/post-flight reports.
• Maintain and manage EFB hardware and applications.
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
• Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
• Demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
