Job summary

VOALA in Los Angeles is seeking a Driver, Shuttle (Class B) to operate VOALA passenger shuttle buses and support scheduled routes, pickups, deliveries, and occasional meal drops. You will help transport program participants and staff, assist with mobility devices, and maintain safety and vehicle cleanliness on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint clearance and background check required.
• Ability to work under emotional stress when serving vulnerable individuals.
• Valid Class B CDL (CA) or ability to obtain within 6 months, and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transports program participants to and from locations such as human service sites, work sites, and medical facilities.
• Assist passengers in securing wheelchairs, car seats and other mobility devices.
• Maintain vehicle in good operating condition; clean vehicle and equipment after each pick-up and delivery; arrange routine maintenance.
