Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Driver, Shuttle (Class B) to operate VOALA passenger shuttle and delivery routes for program participants and staff. You may also assist with meal delivery and kitchen support as needed.

Requirements include a valid Class B CDL for California, fingerprint/background clearance, and at least 1 year of delivery or passenger driving experience. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; on-site work required.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Valid Class B Commercial California Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• One-year experience as delivery or passenger driving.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or other language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports program participants to and from various locations.
• May assist with kitchen drop-off and inventory support.
• Maintains vehicle in good operating condition and performs routine maintenance.
• Cleans vehicle and completes trip records and mileage logs.
