Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Driver, Shuttle (Class B) to operate VOALA's passenger shuttle and perform scheduled pickups and deliveries for program participants and staff. This on-site role requires a valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to assist with wheelchair seating, safety, and routine vehicle maintenance.

One year of delivery or passenger driving experience is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish or another language is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as delivery or passenger driver is preferred.
• Ability to pass fingerprint and background checks is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or other language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport program participants to and from locations including human service sites, work sites, and medical facilities.
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs, car seats, and mobility devices; ensure passenger safety at all times.
• Conduct kitchen drop-offs and assist kitchen staff with inventory and loading; perform routine vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
