Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Driver, Shuttle (Class B) to operate VOALA vehicles and transport program participants to various sites in a safe, courteous manner.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, at least one year of driving experience, and the ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred for effective communication with participants.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial California Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain one within 6 months, and clean driving record.
• One-year experience as delivery or passenger driver.
• Fingerprint clearance and background check required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates the VOALA Passenger shuttle bus or other VOALA vehicle per schedule.
• Transports program participants to/from locations and assists with mobility devices.
• Performs kitchen drop-offs and supports inventory; maintains vehicle records.
• Ensures safety of passengers and vehicle; conducts routine vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
