Job summary

VOALA seeks a Class B Shuttle Driver to operate the VOALA Passenger shuttle and other VOALA vehicles, performing scheduled routes, deliveries, and donations collection for program participants and staff in California. The role requires safe driving, mobility support for passengers, and on-site work as part of VOALA’s mission.

Responsibilities include transporting participants, assisting with wheelchairs and seating, and recording trip data.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• One year of delivery or passenger driver experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint clearance and background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport program participants to and from various locations.
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs, car seats, and mobility devices.
• Ensure passenger safety and safe vehicle operation at all times.
• Perform kitchen drop-offs and assist kitchen staff as needed.
• Conduct scheduled pick-up and drop-off routes.
• Collect donations from outside agencies.
• Maintain trip records, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Keep the vehicle clean and schedule routine maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
