Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Driver, Shuttle (Class B) to operate VOALA passenger shuttle and other VOALA vehicles on scheduled routes. You will transport program participants and staff, assist with mobility devices, and may deliver meals to outlying programs.

On-site work required; must maintain vehicle, records, and safety standards. Requires a valid Class B CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months, and fingerprint clearance. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background check.
• Valid Class B California CDL with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate VOALA passenger shuttle or vehicle on scheduled routes.
• Transport program participants to locations and assist with mobility devices.
• Deliver meals to outlying programs as needed.
• Maintain trip records as well as mileage and gasoline usage records.
• Maintain vehicle in good operating condition and clean after each trip.

Education
