Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Driver, Shuttle (Class B) to operate the VOALA passenger shuttle or other VOALA vehicles, transport program participants and staff, and perform scheduled routes and deliveries as required.

Requirements include a valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record, fingerprint clearance, and at least 1 year of delivery or passenger driving experience; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background check.
• Ability to work with potentially challenging clients.

Responsibilities

• Transports Program Participants to and from locations.
• Performs kitchen delivery and assists kitchen staff as needed.
• Cleans vehicle and equipment; performs routine maintenance.
• Maintains trip records and vehicle logs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Valid Class B Commercial California Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain within 6 months
