Job summary

New Works Remodeling LLC is seeking a Shows & Events Manager to lead an Event Department and a team of demonstrators in promoting our home improvement brand through in-person shows and events in the Pittsburgh, PA area. You will develop, manage, and drive the team to generate leads and sales at promotional booths.

You will recruit, train, and oversee the team, book new shows, plan schedules, and report weekly on productivity, labor, inventory, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Team management and leadership experience.
• Customer service or B2C marketing experience.
• Recruiting and hiring experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Ability to stand for extended periods at events.
• Basic computer literacy for reporting.
• Willingness to work every weekend.

Responsibilities

• Find and book new shows and events for every weekend in your designated territory to demonstrate in.
• Generate leads that translate into sales from event booths.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage your team of Event Demonstrators.
• Ensure promotional booths are set up beautifully at shows and events.
• Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules for events and team.
• Weekly track and report department productivity, labor, inventory, and budget.
• Set and track goals for each event, week, and month.
• Maintain open communication with supervision and other departments.

Shows & Events Manager

New Works Remodeling LLCis seeking a rockstar team leader ready to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department and team of demonstrators in promoting our industry-leading home improvement brand in-person at shows and events in the Pittsburgh, PA area!

You and your team of demonstrators will be responsible for generating new prospective customers through marketing and selling our products and services in promotional booths at the area events, fairs, and festivals everybody's talking about!

Responsibilities

• Find and book new shows and events for every weekend within your designated territory to demonstrate in.
• Generate leads that generate sales and profit from these show and event booths.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage your team of Event Demonstrators who work alongside you.
• Ensure these promotional booths are set up beautifully at these shows & events.
• Plan, coordinate,and organize schedules and calendars for you, your events, and your team.
• Weekly maintain, track, and report your department’s productivity, labor, inventory, and budget.
• Set and ensure goals for each event, week, and month are achieved.
• Keep open, regular, and prompt communication with supervision and other departments.

Requirements

• Team Management & Leadership experience
• Customer Service or Business-to-Customer Marketing experience
• Recruiting & Hiring experience as this will be a regular focus
• Great interpersonal skills: You must want to talk with new people and customers, and be decent at it!
• Valid Driver’s License & Your Own Reliable Vehicle(Non-commute work travel reimbursed!)
• Ability to stand for extended hours while engaging customers at event booths.
• At least basic computer literacy for administrative and reporting duties.
• Must want to work every weekend.

Helpful Skills

• Promotional marketing experience at events is a big plus.
