Job summary

New Works Remodeling LLC seeks a rockstar team leader to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department and demonstrators in promoting our home improvement brand in the Pittsburgh area. You and your team will generate new prospective customers at shows and events by marketing and selling our products in promotional booths.

As Shows & Events Manager, you will recruit, train, and manage the team, book new events, and ensure booths are visually appealing while tracking productivity and budgets.

Qualifications

• Team Management & Leadership experience.
• Customer Service or B2C Marketing experience.
• Recruiting & Hiring experience as this will be a regular focus.
• Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to stand for extended periods at events.
• Basic computer literacy for administrative tasks.
• Must be available to work every weekend.

Responsibilities

• Find and book new shows and events for weekends within the territory.
• Generate leads and convert them into sales from event booths.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of Event Demonstrators.
• Ensure promotional booths are attractive and well-setup.
• Plan and coordinate schedules for events and team members.
• Monitor and report productivity, labor, inventory, and budget weekly.
• Set and track goals for each event, week, and month.
• Maintain open communication with supervision and other departments.

New Works Remodeling LLC is seeking a rockstar team leader ready to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department and team of demonstrators in promoting our industry-leading home improvement brand in-person at shows and events in the Pittsburgh, PA area! You and your team of demonstrators will be responsible for generating new prospective customers through marketing and selling our products and services in promotional booths at the area events, fairs, and festivals everybody's talking about!

As a Shows & Events Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Find and book new shows and events for every weekend within your designated territory to demonstrate in
• Generate leads that generate sales and profit from these show and event booths
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage your team of Event Demonstrators who work alongside you
• Ensure these promotional booths are set up beautifully at these shows & events
• Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules and calendars for you, your events, and your team
• Weekly maintain, track, and report your department’s productivity, labor, inventory, and budget
• Set and ensure goals for each event, week, and month are achieved
• Keep open, regular, and prompt communication with supervision and other departments

Requirements

• Great interpersonal skills: You must want to talk with new people and customers, and be decent at it!
• Valid Driver’s License & Your Own Reliable Vehicle (Non-commute work travel reimbursed!)
• Ability to stand for extended hours while engaging customers at event booths
• At least basic computer literacy for administrative and reporting duties
• Must want to work every weekend
