Job summary

Richards Supply, a Hajoca Corporation location in Kalamazoo, MI, seeks a Showroom Support to warmly welcome customers and connect them with a showroom consultant. You will handle administrative tasks, schedule showroom appointments, and guide customers to appropriate products based on their needs.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, familiarity with kitchen and bath design trends, and competence with Microsoft Office for emails, calendars, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or showroom sales.
• Knowledge of products sold in the showroom preferred.
• Be knowledgeable of kitchen and bath design trends.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and verbal/telephone communications skills.
• Able to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) to communicate via email and manage calendars.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitality and warmly welcome each customer and introduce them to a Showroom sales consultant.
• Provide administrative support and schedule appointments for the Showroom sales.
• Determine customer needs and direct them to the best products.
• Provide customers with accurate information regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability.
• Enter sales orders and bids, expedite purchases, and follow up with customers throughout the sales process.
• Process showroom sale returns and refund paperwork according to policy.
• Keep the showroom clean, neat, stocked, and safely displayed.
• Maintain product literature for current information.
• Attend industry events to stay informed on design trends and build relationships.
• Complete required safety and compliance training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
