Job summary

New Bern Auto Group is seeking a Sales Leader who thrives on the showroom floor, takes T.O.s, and actively coaches the team toward consistent success. You will be the engine of the sales floor, a player-coach driving daily energy while developing raw talent into top performers.

You’ll lead in-the-trenches, coach daily one-on-ones, run live role-plays, and use data to close gaps and maximize opportunities. This role requires a data-minded leader who can streamline CRM flow and partner with F&I

Qualifications

5+ years of automotive dealership experience with proven success in a Sales Manager or GSM role.
Ability to lead from the showroom floor and coach the team to higher performance.
Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision making and trend tracking.
Ability to manage KPIs and hold the team accountable in a structured way.

Responsibilities

Be on the showroom floor as a player-coach, driving deals and energy.
Conduct daily coaching sessions, role-plays, and feedback to elevate skills.
Analyze daily numbers and 30/60/90-day trends to optimize floor performance.
Oversee CRM funnel, manufacturer reporting portals (RDR), and incentives to maximize profitability.
Collaborate with the F&I department to optimize trade-ins and inventory.
