Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated, home to Joybird showrooms, seeks a results-driven Retail Sales Lead to drive sales and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will manage daily operations, lead by example on sales generation, and maintain visual standards across the showroom.

You will build a personal client book, follow up with clients, and collaborate with leadership to improve customer experiences. The role includes supervising during shifts and mentoring staff as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail sales experience with shift supervision preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of furniture industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store; assist in absence of management.
• Sell in showroom and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Manage daily sales reporting to retail leadership.
• Drive store sales and build personal client base.
• Provide exceptional customer experience and lead by example.
• Mentor part time staff when needed.
• Gather customer feedback for product, marketing and tech teams.
