Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated, Joybird showroom in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Joybird Design Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will open/close the store, report sales, and support the team while maintaining visual standards and growing a personal client book.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in retail with a passion for service, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail sales experience with shift supervision preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Knowledge of furniture industry a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and perform duties in the absence of management.
• Provide daily sales reporting to retail leadership.
• Oversee showroom on high-volume periods and support the sales team.
• Lead by example in sales generation and customer service, delivering an exceptional experience.
• Maintain showroom design and visual standards per merchandising guidelines.
• Grow personal client base and drive store sales through follow-up and outreach.
• Share insights with product/marketing/tech teams based on customer feedback.
