Job summary
La-Z-Boy Incorporated's Joybird showroom in Los Angeles is seeking a sales-focused leader to drive store performance and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will open/close the store, supervise in absence of management, maintain visual standards, grow your personal client base, and collaborate with product and marketing teams to meet sales goals.
Base pay is $18.42/hour with 2% commission and a $500 monthly bonus opportunity.
Qualifications
- 2+ years retail sales experience with shift supervision preferred
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Open and close the store and perform duties in the absence of management
- Open/close store with keys and alarm code
- Daily sales reporting to retail leadership
- Oversee sales floor during high volume and support sales team
- Lead Sales Associate responsibilities and model exceptional customer service
- Maintain showroom visual standards using merchandising guidelines
- Grow personal client base and drive store sales through follow-up and outreach
- Collaborate with leadership to create programs improving customer experience
- Share customer feedback with product, marketing and tech teams
- Listen to customer concerns and present best solutions
