Job summary

La-Z-Boy Joybird showroom is seeking a proactive Retail Sales Lead to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will manage opening/closing, report daily sales, and support a high-volume floor while mentoring peers.

Base compensation starts at $18/hour with uncapped commission (2% on written sales) and a monthly $500 bonus based on sales goals, plus benefits and a 40-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail sales with shift supervision experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and perform duties in the absence of management.
• Open/close the store with keys and alarm code.
• Daily sales reporting to retail leadership.
• Oversee the sales floor during high volume and support the team to meet financial goals.
• Lead by example in sales generation and customer service to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Maintain showroom visuals per merchandising guidelines.
• Grow personal client base and drive store sales through follow-up and outreach.
• Share customer feedback with product/marketing/tech teams.
