Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc. in Bluffton, SC is seeking Display Delivery Assistants to set up showroom merchandise and assist with furniture deliveries to customers' homes.

You will ride with delivery drivers and help deliver happiness through superior customer service. The role offers on-site work with a starting pay of $15.50 per hour, a flexible Tue–Sat schedule, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or delivery roles preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 150 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Keep merchandise on the floor in functional condition and order parts as needed.
• Support moving and arranging merchandise on showroom floor.
• Provide support on deliveries to customers' homes.
• Unload furniture from trucks and place it in customers' homes.
• Assist Display Coordinator with floor moves and lighting on furniture/accessories.
• Assist customers in carrying merchandise to their vehicles.
