Job summary

Havertys Furniture is seeking a Display Delivery Assistant to set up merchandise in showrooms and accompany delivery drivers to customers' homes. You’ll help with floor moves, lighting, and arranging POP material while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves unloading furniture, maintaining showroom cleanliness, and supporting the Display Coordinator with floor changes. Great for team players who value safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or delivery roles preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 150 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Keep merchandise on the showroom floor and arrange parts as needed.
• Support moving and arranging showroom items.
• Assist with deliveries to customers’ homes.
• Unload furniture from trucks and place it in the home.
• Assist in floor moves, lighting, and displaying signs.
