Havertys Furniture is seeking a Display Delivery Assistant to help set up showroom merchandise and participate in customer deliveries. You’ll ride with delivery drivers, assist with furniture placement, and maintain a clean, well-organized showroom and stockroom.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and excellent customer service. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or delivery roles preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 150 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with showroom merchandising and floor moves.
• Support deliveries to customers’ homes and help unload on the truck.
• Provide clean, safe, and professional service in the showroom and during deliveries.
• Maintain stockroom and showroom cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with lighting and placement of POP material for displays.
