Job summary

Havertys is seeking a Display Delivery Assistant to support showroom merchandising and customer deliveries. You will ride with delivery drivers and help place furniture in customers' homes, ensuring a high level of service and safety on every job.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work early shifts. A strong customer focus, physical stamina, and a valid driver’s license are required, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or delivery roles preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 150 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with showroom floor setup and merchandise placement.
• Support deliveries to customers' homes and help with unloading.
• Maintain showroom and stockroom in an orderly fashion.
• Help with lighting, signage, and display coordination.
• Assist Delivery Drivers on the delivery truck as needed.
• Provide light housekeeping to keep showroom clean.
