Job summary

Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc is seeking a Display Delivery Assistant to help set up merchandise in showrooms and assist with in-home deliveries. You will ride with delivery drivers and contribute to a high level of customer service, integrity, and teamwork.

The role involves lifting, moving furniture, and aiding on showroom floor and with deliveries. A valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 150 pounds are required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or delivery roles preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 150 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Keep merchandise on showroom floor and repair when needed.
• Assist with moving and arranging showroom merchandise.
• Support deliveries to customers' homes.
• Unload furniture from trucks and place in customers' homes.
• Assist Display Coordinator with floor moves and lighting.
• Maintain stockroom in an orderly fashion; sweep and mop.
• Help customers carry merchandise to vehicles.
• Ensure safety and professional conduct.
