Job summary

Havertys is seeking Display Delivery Assistants to set up merchandise in showrooms and assist with deliveries to customers’ homes. You’ll help with floor moves, product placement, lighting, and orderly showrooms while providing excellent customer service.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 150 pounds, a valid driver’s license, and flexible schedule including weekends. We offer daily pay options, 401K with 4% match, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or delivery roles preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 150 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and assist on the delivery truck.
• Problem-solving skills for minor repairs and part orders.
• Knowledge of safety protocols.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Keep merchandise on the floor in functional condition and arrange parts as needed.
• Support moving and arranging merchandise on showroom floor.
• Provide support on deliveries to customers' homes.
• Unload furniture from trucks and place it in customers' homes.
• Assist Display Coordinator with floor moves and lighting.
• Place POP material and signs.
• Assist customers in carrying merchandise to vehicles.
• Maintain showroom and stockroom cleanliness and orderliness.
• Assist on the delivery truck as required.
